Hot Springs, AR — October 26, 2026 — The Levi Community Foundation is introducing the inaugural 2026-2027 Garland County Giving Guide, a new publication designed to connect community members with local nonprofit organizations and inspire greater charitable giving, volunteerism, and community involvement.
The Giving Guide features 57 nonprofits serving Garland County, highlighting their missions, community impact, and opportunities for residents and businesses to get involved. Regions Bank serves as the publication's presenting sponsor, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening the community through collaboration and charitable involvement. The guide will be available beginning November 1, with printed copies distributed through 43 community partners and an online version available for those who prefer to explore it digitally.
The publication includes organizations working across a wide range of causes, including behavioral health, addiction recovery, housing, food security, education, youth development, disability services, arts and culture, and more. Each nonprofit profile provides information about its work, accomplishments, and ways to support its mission. The guide also includes practical tools to help readers identify causes they care about and make thoughtful decisions about charitable giving.
The Giving Guide reflects Levi's commitment to supporting the organizations that contribute to a stronger, healthier Garland County. While the Foundation's grantmaking focuses on behavioral health and the social factors that influence well-being, the guide takes a broader approach, recognizing the many organizations working to address community needs and create opportunities for local residents.
"One of the things we've learned through our first grantmaking cycle is just how much important work is happening across Garland County, and how much need still exists," said Libby Harrington, Executive Director of the Levi Community Foundation. "We know the Foundation cannot meet every need on its own, but we can help connect people with organizations that are making a difference. Our hope is that this guide inspires residents and businesses to discover a cause they care about and find their own way to give back."
For participating nonprofits, the Giving Guide offers an opportunity to reach new audiences, build relationships, and strengthen awareness of their work.
"By bringing local nonprofits together in one place, the Giving Guide makes it easier for the community to discover organizations they may not have known about," said Ashley Thompson, Executive Director of Ouachita Children, Youth, & Family Services. "For OCYFS, it's a wonderful opportunity to introduce our mission to new supporters, build awareness of the work we do, and empower our community to invest in stronger futures for children, youth, and families."
Karen Davis, Executive Director of Beautiful Life Recovery House, said the publication is especially valuable for newer organizations working to establish themselves in the community.
"Beautiful Life Recovery House is participating in the Garland County Giving Guide because visibility is essential for a new nonprofit," Davis said. "The guide connects people with the organizations shaping our community, and it gives us the opportunity to share our mission, expand awareness, and invite others into the work of providing safe housing and life-building support for moms and their children."
Whether readers are interested in making a financial contribution, volunteering their time, supporting a fundraising event, or simply learning more about local organizations, the guide offers a starting point for getting involved.
