Levi Community Foundation Announces First Grant Application Cycle

Hot Springs, AR — April 6, 2026 — The Levi Community Foundation will open its first public grant application cycle on April 20, marking a significant milestone as the organization begins its work supporting nonprofit partners across Garland County. Applications will be accepted through May 31 and will be available online at www.levicares.org/grantmaking.

The inaugural grant cycle marks the next step in Levi’s transition from hospital to foundation, focusing on behavioral health, social factors that influence well-being, and a thoughtful, partnership-driven approach to sustainable community investment.

Grants will be awarded to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Garland County, with a minimum request of $20,000. Funding will support programs that align with one or more of the foundation’s priority areas, including behavioral health services, prevention and early intervention, and efforts that address social determinants of health such as housing, food access, and transportation.

Libby Harrington, Executive Director of the Levi Community Foundation, said the launch of the first grant cycle reflects both excitement and long-term commitment.

“I cannot express how excited the Levi Board of Directors and I are to establish our first grant cycle as the Levi Community Foundation. Garland County is home to so many strong nonprofit organizations serving our residents, yet gaps in services and capacity remain.”

Harrington added her perspective has been shaped by years of working alongside local nonprofits.

“Since my first role in the nonprofit sector at Garland County Habitat for Humanity, I have built relationships with organizations across this community, and that perspective has only deepened as we explore how our foundation can support behavioral health and the social factors that shape well-being,” she says. “As our endowment grows, so will our impact. These inaugural grants mark the beginning of a long-term commitment to supporting the people and organizations working every day to make our community stronger.”

Funding may be used for program activities, direct services, training, supplies, and equipment needed to deliver services. All funded work must demonstrate a clear connection to behavioral health or community well-being. The foundation will not fund lobbying efforts, political campaigns, debt reduction, or multi-year grant requests.

Additional details, including eligibility requirements and application guidelines, are available at www.levicares.org/grantmaking, where organizations may also sign up for notifications and updates.
